A fresh approach to personal training for women’s bodies.

Hi – I’m Sian, a forty-something mum of two. I help women who feel out of control of their bodies rebuild strength, confidence and trust in how they move.

My clients aren’t looking to just “go through the motions” in a gym. They want expert guidance, real understanding of women’s health, and an approach that works with their lives – not against them.

I’m a working mum in perimenopause with pelvic health issues just trying to fit it all in too. I’m not a former ‘gym-bunny’ and I don’t offer get fit quick schemes, diet plans or before and afters. I offer perspective, realism, encouragement, support, expert knowledge, trust and results.

Why women choose to work with me:

  • Pelvic health expertise
  • Support that fits around real life
  • No pressure, no extremes
  • A body-aware, whole-life approach
  • Someone who genuinely understands

The Fresh Start Story

Fresh Start came about because I needed a fresh start.

After a decade working in Corporate PR, I felt worn out and knew something needed to change. While I figured out what that looked like, I started working with a personal trainer – and discovered I loved movement.

With my background in communication, I realised I could offer something different. Something less intimidating, more intuitive and more supportive for women who didn’t feel at home in traditional fitness spaces.

My training reinforced what I already believed – that something was missing.

  • Women-only, supportive spaces
  • No intimidating routines or pressure to “do more”
  • A whole-body approach shaped by life stage
  • A strong focus on pelvic health

Over a decade later, Fresh Start is exactly that – a space where women can rebuild strength, confidence and trust in their bodies, whatever stage of life they’re in.

A bit about me

  • I’m an identical twin. No, we’re not telepathic!
  • I grew up near Stafford but left to go to Uni and only came back a few years ago after 20+ years living in London. I now live a stone’s throw from my childhood home with my husband and two children
  • I did next to no exercise until I was about 28. Then I found my calling and left PR to qualify as a Personal Trainer in 2012!
  • I’ve hung out with Beyonce and Justin Timberlake
  • I LOVE watching/reading about professional cycling but only pootle on my bike with the kids
  • I’m obsessed with interiors magazines and Insta house accounts
  • I love travelling and spent 7 months in South America, Oz, New Zealand and Singapore
  • I love a police/crime/forensics documentary and a good book (current faves are Maggie O’ Farrell and Elif Shafak).

Wherever you’re starting from, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
